The prompt for The Gallery this week is colour. I was thinking that I would get out and see if I could finally photograph some daffodils in bloom because yellow in spring just makes me so happy but I decided to drive home from Eastbourne on Monday the long way so Piran would sleep and I suddenly remembered that I would be driving past this and it seemed like fate.
The green telephone box is in the Seven Sisters Country Park at Cuckmere Valley. The photo is not the best because I had to snap and run as Piran was sleeping in the car. I tried to find out more information when I got home but Google has let me down this time, I cannot find any interesting facts about it. There is no telephone in it and some of the glass has been broken. It is the only green telephone box I have ever seen, although I know there are more in various parts of the country.

Typically eccentric British sight really, phone box with no phone!
So they camouflage the box and then if you can find it it has no phone! Typical BT haha! Lovely photo

Haha, imagine walking for miles as you can see a telephone box only to get there and find it is defunct! Perhaps that's why it's camouflaged. Great picture.
Great pphotos – love the green phone cabin! It reminds me of the empty phone cabin we had "installed" at work, where everyone who wanted to have their private phone calls, could go there and do it…funny!

I love phone boxes. Shame they are pretty much all gone now. This is a great green one. It's probably camouflaged itself so no one can find it to tear it down.
That is such a lovely pic. It makes me want to ask questions. You could make up a really cool kids story about it, I mean, maybe it's not a telephone box but a door to another world, or a tardis. Brilliant.
